At age 20, she began working in the Design & Construction department for a major local hotel & casino company. After three years, she moved on to becoming an Assistant Project Manager for a General Contractor. That is where she got her first hands on experience with interior design.
Soon after, she made the hard decision to leave the corporate world to become a full time mom. After the birth of their second child, she and Mitch sold their Las Vegas home to be closer to family in the Hudson Valley area.
In August of 2014, they made the move from west coast to east coast. Although it was a tough move, it was the best decision they could have made. Jessica’s shabby-chic style was inspired by the old architecture and antique shops around the area. She wanted the interior of their home to match the exterior; colonial farmhouse.
